The purpose of this contest is to simulate a real-world, job-site situation. A welding team of 4 members from the same school or 4H club, under the supervision of their AST (or school designated adult) will build a 24”x 60” work/welding table within the specified time frame. All material will be provided to build the cooker. The Texas Rice Festival will maintain ownership of each work table with a $50 entry. If you want to keep the work table, it will be a $275 entry.
