“Chicken Cordon Blue Lasagna”

6 cups cooked white rice
1 1/2 cups diced thin sliced ham
3 cups shredded Swiss cheese
3 large chicken breasts
1 1/2 cup cooked diced bacon

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
4 cups milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
16 oz cream cheese softened


Cook chicken and bacon. Dice chicken, bacon and ham and set aside.

In a large space pan melt butter and add flour. Cook about 1 minute then slowly add milk. Add garlic powder, garlic salt, salt and pepper. Stir with whisk and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir in the cream cheese and continue to stir until smooth. Remove from heat.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.

Spread 3 cups of rice on the bottom of the pan. Layer 1/2 of the chicken over rice. Next layer half of the ham, then half of the bacon. Pour half of the sauce over bacon and sprinkle with half of the cheese.

Repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
