2026 Texas Rice Festival President

Darrell Guidry​

Darrell Guidry is the 2026 President of the Texas Rice Festival. Darrell attended Hardin-Jefferson High School and in 1984, he graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. 

In 1985, he began his 33 year career with USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA).He served as County Executive for more than 28 years in three county offices in Texas. In 2013, he received the Administrator’s Award, FSA’s highest honor. 

Darrell has Chaired TRF Rice Exhibit for 32 years; been TRF Board of Directors for 33 years which includes Executive Officer. He is an Honoree Ambassador for Beaumont Chamber of Commerce; member of Independent Cattleman’s Association; Texas SW Cattle Raisers Assoc.; Jefferson Co. Agri-Life Extension; YMBL; Jefferson Co. Farm Bureau Board; Judge for Houston Livestock Show for Ag-Mechanics and China Knights of Columbus. 

He is married to Naomi Guidry; Pawpaw to Grandchildren Alexis, Caleb, Kaylie, Graham and Pop Pops to great grandson Hayes. 

Darrell is privileged to serve as President and appreciates the volunteers and sponsors and is proud to be a part of an organization that gives back to the community and youth of our area.
